The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has categorized this as a Class 1 recall, indicating that consuming the product could result in serious health complications or, in extreme cases, death.

These affected chips were distributed to retail stores and online platforms in Oregon and Washington. The recalled products have been available for purchase since November 3, 2024. Other Lay’s products, including different flavors, sizes, and variety packs, are not included in this recall.
